Amazing sea food! The oysters were giant, the polvo tasted amazing and the seafood platter a dream! 100% recommended. And our waitress Maria was a doll! ❤️

Portions are generous, prices are fair, and you leave feeling like you’ve had real value for money. The restaurant is right by the water and the Mercado. I’m not sure what other bad reviews were about. We had great dinner here. The servers were super nice, friendly and attentive. The fish cataplana was very tasty and it has many different kinds of fish in there. They also have out sitting during the day. Highly recommend it.
Having walked past the restaurant on our way to and from the market many times, today we timed it perfectly so we could try it for our lunch. Excellent selection of dishes for sea food lovers and non sea food eaters. Will definitely return soon!

The perfect place to taste the freshest and perfectly prepared seafood at a reasonable price. Despite the fact that there is a market nearby and the ocean inhabitants live in aquariums inside the cafe, the atmosphere is very pleasant. Thank you and I sincerely recommend it

The food here is beyond amazing (if you like seafood). Had dinner here and then lunch the next day. The staff are friendly and the experience both times was memorable. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

First day in Tavira and we decided to have lunch here, on recommendation of our Airbnb host. Without doubt the best Seafood Cataplana I've ever had. So tasty, with prawns, clams and mussels. The wine was also great . Definitely recommend 👌

We had the rice with povo (octopus) for 2, and the portion was very generous with the octopus melting in your mouth. The shrimp salad was beautifully served, wished it had more shrimp, but it was super fresh and shrimp was perfectly cooked. The “povo” a largareira (octopus) was very good, very fresh but a bit small. The Cataplana de mariscos had lots of prawns and well served. My daughter loves the fish soup. The food quality is very good and service is friendly and welcoming. Juni is the smiley one if you get to be served by her.I was sceptic due to the low score and wouldn’t have been if it wasn’t for the rota do petisco... and it didn’t deceive!! Big portions, very tasty, good service. 5* to me

The raw oysters were the best we’ve had in Portugal accompanied by a nice inexpensive white wine. Our Portuguese style tuna was a welcome change from the regular seared tuna and much appreciated. Ignore the low rating. This should be 5/5. Having grown up by the sea and with a Dad as a scuba diver who would bring home fish most weeks growing-up, I know good seafood. This place is amazing. Fresh. Perfectly cooked. I had prawns of the day (150g) to start and grilled swordfish. Lovely, friendly and quick service
Amazing food, very tasty and fresh. They have live seafood. The host were nice and kind. Portion size was good and very delicious
